Salvation is found in Jesus Christ of Nazareth

Salvation is the central message of the Bible and the greatest gift God offers to humanity. At its heart, salvation means being rescued from sin, death, and eternal separation from God – and being restored to a right relationship with Him. This salvation is found only in Christ Jesus.

From the beginning, all have sinned and fallen short of God’s standard (Romans 3:23).

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16 (NKJV)

Sin separates us from a holy God, and the penalty for sin is death – both physical and spiritual (Romans 6:23). But God, in His love and mercy, provided a way of escape through His Son, Jesus Christ.

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 6:23 (NKJV)

Jesus, the sinless Son of God, came into the world, lived a perfect life, and willingly died on the cross as a substitute for sinners. His death paid the full price for our sins, and His resurrection proved His victory over sin and death.

“Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
Acts 4:12 (NKJV)

Salvation in Christ is not earned by good works, religious rituals, or moral effort. It is received by grace through faith:

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”
Ephesians 2:8–9 (NKJV)

To receive salvation, one must repent—turning from sin—and believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

“That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Romans 10:9 (NKJV)

In Christ Jesus, salvation brings not only forgiveness of sins but also peace with God, new life, and the promise of eternal life.
